ALL HUBCAPS
1965 Cadillac DeVille 15-Inch Stainless Wheel Cover

THE GHOST'S TAKE

This right here is a ghost from the era of true American land yachts. A 1965 Cadillac 15-inch full wheel cover, standard issue for the DeVille, Calais, and Fleetwood. If you are rolling in an Eldorado, keep walking because this cap is not for you. It is a heavy slab of Detroit stainless steel that survived the decades while the rest of the world turned to cheap plastic. The design is pure mid-century luxury. You have got that deep-dish brushed stainless face leading down to the classic crown-and-shield crest dead center. Notice the valve stem hole punched right through the outer lip, a dead giveaway for this specific year's engineering. Condition-wise, it is a solid driver. The stainless still throws a mean reflection, but get up close and you will see the painted details in the crest have faded out from fifty years of highway sun and brake dust. It has honest road wear, but no brutal curb rash. It is ready to snap back onto a steel wheel or haunt your garage wall.
