DESCRIPTION
INTRODUCTION
Listen up, degenerates. What we have here isn't just another grocery-getter with a bed. This is the holy grail of the muscle car era—a 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS packing the legendary LS6 454. With 450 horsepower on tap, this Cortez Silver beast is the reason Toby went on a bender at Barrett-Jackson back in 2016 and bought eight cars. It's a matching-numbers, stunningly restored unicorn that started the whole 13-acre beautiful decay we call home. It's rare, it's mean, and it's ready to melt tires.
EXTERIOR
The Cortez Silver paint on this El Camino is slicker than a greased pig at a county fair. The body lines are razor-straight, and the black SS stripes lay flat and mean across the Cowl Induction hood. The black vinyl top is tight, the chrome bumpers shine like new money, and the glass is crystal clear. It sits perfectly on correct SS wheels wrapped in Firestone Wide Oval tires, looking like it just rolled out of 1970 and into your wildest dreams.
INTERIOR
Slide inside and you're greeted by a sea of pristine black vinyl. The bench seat is immaculate, offering plenty of room for you and whatever trouble you're bringing along. The dash is clean, housing the factory gauges and that all-important tachometer. The door panels, headliner, and carpets look fresh out of the box. It's a no-nonsense cockpit designed for one thing: holding on while the LS6 does its dirty work.
UNDERCARRIAGE
While we don't have photos of the belly of the beast, a restoration of this caliber leaves nothing untouched. Expect clean floor pans, a solid frame, and a suspension that's been dialed in to handle the massive torque. It's equipped with power steering and power disc brakes up front to keep you out of the ditch, and a 4.10 rear end out back to make sure you get off the line in a hurry.
ENGINE
Pop the hood and behold the heart of the monster: the matching-numbers LS6 454ci V8, factory-rated at a conservative 450 horsepower. The engine bay is detailed to perfection, with the correct Cowl Induction air cleaner, chrome valve covers, and Chevy Orange block. It's backed by the original T400 automatic transmission, ready to snap your neck back with every shift. This isn't just an engine; it's a weapon of mass seduction.
