DESCRIPTION
INTRO
Ford guys don't get enough credit. While Chevy C10s are getting bid up to stupid money, the Ford F100 sits right next to them with the same mid-century swagger and half the price tag. This '66 is fourth-generation F-Series — the last of the squared-off, no-nonsense work trucks before Ford softened everything up in the '70s. With that twin-I-beam front end and a bed that's actually been used for hauling, she's the kind of truck that earned every dent. Only one photo, so you'll have to come see her in the flesh.
EXTERIOR
This old girl wears her history like a badge of honor. The two-tone orange and white paint is heavily faded with significant surface rust and patina across the hood, roof, and fenders. The windshield is cracked right down the middle. The chrome bumper and grille are still hanging on, but they've seen better days. It's a true barn find aesthetic that you couldn't fake if you tried.
INTERIOR
We only have one exterior shot, so the interior is a mystery wrapped in a rusty enigma. You can barely make out a steering wheel through the cracked glass. Expect to find a bench seat that's seen a thousand workdays and floorboards that might need some patching. Bring your imagination and a flashlight.
UNDERCARRIAGE
No photos of the belly, but sitting in a dirt lot like this, you can bet there's some crust underneath. The twin I-beam suspension is likely still there, waiting for a rebuild. Assume you'll be doing brakes, lines, and suspension work before this thing ever sees pavement again.
ENGINE
The hood badge says V8, but without popping the hood, we can't confirm if it's a 352 or just an empty bay. Given the condition, assume it's a non-runner that needs a full mechanical overhaul. It's a blank canvas for whatever powerplant you want to drop in.
