1946 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan
The Cadillac Series 62 was Cadillac’s top-end luxury car from 1946 to 1955. It was the first post-war Cadillac with tailfins and the first series with a V8 engine as standard. The Series 62 was derived from the Buick Roadmaster, which in turn shared its roots with the Chevrolet Master Deluxe series, where the GM A-Body platform had debuted in 1935.
